When my brother and I were first born daddy says we were real troublemakers. We both needed to be on ventilators, and then CPAP machines, both needed umbilical arterial catheters, had trouble regulating our body temperature, both only ate 2 ml every three hours, needed light therapy, and both kept forgetting to keep our hearts beating.

Since we needed near-constant attention the doctors told daddy that we needed to be in two different rooms with two different teams of nurses because we were just too much trouble for one team to handle. That was tough on mommy and daddy because they had to be away from each other in order to help out the nurses with our scheduled cares. A couple nights ago daddy was holding Teague and mommy was holding me and they were using their cell phones to video chat with each other. They're silly.

It was also hard on my brother and me because we were together inside mommy and it was fun to punch and kick each other. But after 16 days, 11 hours, and 25 minutes my brother and I are back together again, in isolettes right next to each other! Daddy says that he and mommy are super grateful for Brook, Lizette, and Renee; the three nurses who helped make my brother's move into my room happen. They're also super grateful for Andy, Averi, Brandi, Delaney, Dora, Kim, Kristie, Lauren, Meriam, Sarah, Shelby, Taylor, and Vai -- because since day one they knew how important getting us together as a family was, and they've been checking every day with the doctors to see if it could happen. Our nurses are awesome!
