Apologies again for such a long stretch without an update. The past few weeks we've had some setbacks and difficult days, but we've also had some really great days.

Teague has been a champ with breathing. He is now on "room air" and doing well for multiple days on it. We've started bottle feeding him and he is getting the hang of it, though he still needs supplemental feeds via his tube.

Finn was able to come off the high flow and now is getting 120 cc's of oxygen through his nasal cannula. He's been doing fantastic with his bottle feeding, and is "ad lib" with his feeds. He no longer needs his feeding tube and has been doing great without it for three days.

Both boys are now able to regulate their body temperatures and were able to be removed from their isolettes and put into cribs. And the nurses somehow were able to shuffle babies around and convince the doctors to let us move into our own private room, giving us more privacy and more space.

I've been reading to the boys pretty much every night and have already finished The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, The Call of the Wild, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, and Hatchet. We're starting A River Runs Through It tonight and Treasure Island is on deck. These might be strange books to read them when they're just babies, but there is no way I'm going to read Baby Shark 8,000 times.
