I know my name!

My brother hasn't really been worried about his name, but I don't like it when the nurses refer to me as "Baby B" -- so I am very, very happy to announce that mommy and daddy finally gave me a name. It's Finley Ramsey Wright, but you can call me Finn. Daddy says that he has always like the name Finn and so do I! Finley means "fair-headed warrior" and it fits me perfectly because mommy says that when I was in her tummy I was kicking and punching her much more than Baby A, and my hair is blonde just like daddy's.
I know you're probably wondering what Baby A's name is, but you'll have to wait to hear from him tomorrow. I don't know what it is because he's way over at the other end of the NICU. It's a bummer that I can't be next to my brother but I heard the nurses say that they might be able to get us in the same room soon. Daddy says that the reason we have to be separated is because sometimes nurses mix up twins and they have to worry about mean people called lawyers if they accidentally give one of us the wrong amount of medicine -- and they also need to separate babies that are harder to take care of so one nurse isn't too stressed out. I hope I'm not too much trouble for the nurses, they're all really nice to me.
Mommy and daddy have two fabric hearts that the nurses gave them. They put the hearts under their shirts and wear them all day, and then they put them in our incubators next to us so we can smell mommy and daddy. It makes me feel good to smell mommy, and I can somewhat tolerate daddy's smell. But I think the hearts are more important to them because they just want to be with us but they can't stay in the hospital all the time. My mommy and daddy love me so much.

Hello Finn and Baby A! I'm your great aunt and I can't wait to meet you when you get to come home! I'm so glad your dad is writing all about your adventures, he's very creative! By the way, roller coasters are fun, but you should save that for Disneyland. My 10 year old niece was born at 30 weeks and she's in 5th grade now. In the blink of an eye, you'll be worried about homework instead if hospital monitors. Keep growing stronger! Aunt Susan
