I have a brain!

The doctors warned mommy and daddy that this would be like a roller coaster. They almost didn't let me post today because they are worried about me. Yesterday the doctors did an ultrasound of my brain to make sure I'm not bleeding up there. I was very excited to find out that I have a brain! The results came in today and the doctors told my parents that they saw something small that might be bleeding, and that they will check again with another ultrasound in 10 days. Mommy was very worried but the doctors told her that it's likely nothing to be concerned about and won't mean that I have any long term brain development issues. Daddy says that I need to learn something called calculus soon so I'm going to need my brain to be nice and healthy. Daddy makes jokes sometimes when he's just really scared and doesn't know what else to do. But I know that I'm a strong boy and I'm going to be smarter than daddy one day!

Another thing that happened to me today was the nurses gave me a sponge bath and washed my hair. It was my very first bath and it felt great! The nurses all love my blonde hair. My feedings have gone up to 18ml every 3 hours and I don't need the blue lights anymore! Unfortunately I'm still having Brady's and the doctors are keeping my airflow at 4 lpm until those spells reduce a bit. Daddy told me that my brother is already down to 2 lpm so I need to catch up!
