I got a new bed!

As Finn told you already, the nurses moved me over to be by my brother and daddy said that it was the best day they've had! I'm happy too because the nurses gave me a new bed and this one has a mattress with acorns on it. Daddy told me that acorns start out really small, but they're tough to and hard to crack and given enough time they grow into giant trees. He says that I'm just like the acorn, small and tough and soon I'll be big and strong like a tree. The nurses told mommy that they change our beds out every week to prevent germs, so I'll only have my acorn mattress for a few more days, but I'm excited to see what my next one looks like because every new mattress is one week closer to going home.

Last night mommy held me for 4 hours while daddy held Finn! I couldn't really see Finn very well because my eyes don't focus yet, but I could hear him hiccup. I didn't have too many Brady's and that made mommy happy. Two nights ago I had a Brady that lasted a bit longer than daddy liked and he got pretty worried about me. My oxygen saturation dropped to the 60's but my nurse was right there to make sure I snapped out of it. Sometimes when mommy holds me I just get so relaxed that I forget that I'm not inside her tummy, where I didn't need to worry about beating my heart. I promised daddy not to scare him anymore. He just worries about me because he loves me so much!
