Daddy held me!

This morning daddy came in really early before he had to go to work. The nurses were surprised that he was here so early in the morning but I know that he just loves me and Finn so much that he wanted to start his day by saying good morning to us. He was able to check my temperature and change my diaper, and then the nurse said that he could hold me while I ate! Daddy put me inside his shirt so I would stay nice and warm and I liked listening to him talk because his voice makes a funny rumbling sound when I'm sleeping against his chest. It is quite an ordeal trying to get me out of my incubator with all the wires and cables and hooking up my feed tube, but the nurses were happy to help daddy out because they could see how much it meant to him.
Unfortunately, I've been having more spells and the doctors not only had to put me back on air, and then increased airflow, but now they are switching out regular air for warm/humid air to help me out. When they replaced the breathing tubes in my nose I cried as loud as I could, and I knew daddy was sad for me, but once they switched the tubes I felt better and mommy told me that it was alright that I had to go back on air and I shouldn't be worried about it because lots of babies my age have the same problem. Daddy says that Finn and I are both receiving the same air flow rate, 3 liter per minute. And we're both breathing warmed/humidified air. So even though we aren't next to each other we're breathing the same air!

Yeah! Congratulations!!!!!!
